Abstract painter Katherine Greene describes her work as an exploration of color as it relates to a feeling, a thought or an idea. A foundation is created with the application of many layers of gesso, texture and paint. The paint is applied directly from the tube and color mixing is done on the canvas. Katherine received a BFA degree at CSU, Humboldt and completed courses in Art History, Drawing, Painting and Graphic Design.

Ray Jacobsen (1938-2007) was born in Englewood Colorado, and came to Sonoma County in 1947 with his family. Ray is known for his landscape paintings of Sonoma County. He contributed his time and artwork to the Sonoma Valley Museum of Art, where he as an Advisory Council member. Ray was also one of the founding members of the Arts Guild of Sonoma in 1977, an active and supportive member for 30 years.

Suzanne Jacquot, MFA, is a professional abstract painter and teacher in Sonoma County as well as co-owner at www.LivingYourWildCreativity.com. She shows her art locally as well as nationally as well as teaches abstract art workshops at her new large studio in Sebastopol and Online. The Sonoma artist Holly Jordan creates paintings and monotypes, using Xerox transfer, dry point, chin colle and mixed media. Holly studied at the California College of the Arts in San Francisco.
Bert Kaplan is a Sonoma County artist whose paintings and pastel artwork is inspired by nature.
