Susan Sohl (1945-2020) was known for her watercolors and collages made of  Gesso, watercolors, torn papers, and acrylic inks. “I focus on individual expression and the development of a personal visual language.” In her Artist Statement, she wrote: “I am a curious person… My paintings reflect this intellectual and artistic curiosity…. The way I work with collage, for example, developed after months of experiments with gesso, watercolors, torn papers, and acrylic inks. No-one taught me how to create figures from paper and paste, but I struggled until I had the desired result. The Muse Series was the result.” About teaching art, she wrote: ” I focus on individual expression and the development of a personal visual language.”

Suki Diamond offers a home living collection of pottery, home accessories and garden sculpture, handcrafted by the artist in Sonoma County. She has a ceramic studio and sculpture garden in Sebastopol, California. Working in traditional majolica technique, she employs color stains on a white background, and paints each piece in clear colors with stylized animals, people or designs. “All reflect her joyful observations of the world at large.”

Stanley George Miller, better known as Mouse and Stanley Mouse, is an American artist notable for his 1960s psychedelic rock concert poster designs and the album covers of Grateful Dead and Journey music records. By 1958, Mouse had become fascinated by the Taint movement that had begun in California a decade earlier.
