Michelle Carnes explores Russian Impressionism and creates bold oil paintings from life. She migrated to Sonoma County from Chicago, where she graduated from the Art Institute of Chicago. She also has influence as an exhibit designer.

The Sonoma county native, Donna DeLaBriandais is a plein air Impressionist painter who specializes in California landscape paintings. Donna also enjoys teaching, and offers workshops in watercolors, oil painting and drawing. Donna attended the Academy of Art University in San Francisco and a summer at LaRomita School of Art in Italy. She received a B.A. degree from the University of San Francisco.
Suki Diamond offers a home living collection of pottery, home accessories and garden sculpture, handcrafted by the artist in Sonoma County. She has a ceramic studio and sculpture garden in Sebastopol, California. Working in traditional majolica technique, she employs color stains on a white background, and paints each piece in clear colors with stylized animals, people or designs. “All reflect her joyful observations of the world at large.”
Linda Donohue is a fine artist who grew up at Muir Beach and in the Napa Valley, now residing in Sonoma County. Her acrylics, figurative paintings and encaustic works are often inspired by the Northern California terrain and horses. She is also the president of the Petaluma Arts Association, and the founder of COCA the Coalition of California Artists, a group marketing to the home furnishings industry Linda studied fine art at CCSF and graphic design at Platt College in San Francisco. She worked many years as a designer in the furniture business, as featured on HGTV and Extreme Makeover.

Dee Dushke is an artist who creates oil paintings, prints, portraiture and mixed media. She has a B.F.A. in Painting from Sonoma State University, California.
Suzanne Edminster, artist of Saltwork Studio, is known for her abstract paintings, mixed media, studio events, and an art blog.
Irene Guidici Ehret is a watercolor artist who was born and grew up in the small town of Angels Camp, California. She teaches classes in intermediate and advanced watercolor, and nature journaling. She is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of California at Berkeley. She has had one-woman shows in Maryland, Italy, Rhode Island, Virginia, and California.
John Farnsworth is a landscape artist, painting with oils on canvas on location in Sonoma, Marin and Mendocino counties.
Zaza Fetterly grew up in Paris, where she graduated from the Sorbonne and the American University in Paris. Zaza has practiced art and sculpting for over 20 years in San Francisco and the California wine country. Her art is on display at The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art Gallery.
Sonoma County artist Kathleen Fitzpatrick creates nature photography of the wine country, and colorful, original landscapes and abstract acrylic paintings.
Vicki Folkerts-Coots is known for her oil and pastel landscapes with sweeping brushstrokes. Born in Oregon, she now lives and has an art studio in Sonoma County.
Artist Anina Porter Fuller comes from an artistic family on the East Coast, that includes the painter Fairfield Porter and photographer Eliot Porter (her uncles and mentors), and the poet Anne Porter. Anina resides in Sonoma County and specializes in oil painting directly from nature. She also leads Art Week trips each summer to the Great Spruce Head Island, Maine.
The Sonoma County artist Bill Gittins paints both in plein air and in the studio using acrylics and oils. Bill is primarily a painter of land, water and sky.
Sylvia Gonzalez creates a mix of pastel drawings layered on hand-made lithograph monotypes. She also offers limited edition Giclee prints and pastel workshops. Sylvia’s inspiration often comes from nature. She grew up in the Midwest and holds a BFA from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, before settling in Sonoma County.
Celeste’s primary mediums are charcoal and watercolor, and her water art features expressive, fluid and feminine forms. Born and raised in Northern California, Celeste has also organized the Artists of Sonoma Facebook site. Check it out!
